CONDITIONS OF PARTICIPATION
1. Eligibility:
A) Participation in the Invention Fair is open to individuals, teams, companies, and organizations worldwide.
B) All inventions presented must be the original work of the participants or legally licensed to them.
C) An invention cannot be presented twice except if there has been substantial innovation and/or modification that can allow for a new intellectual property filling.
2. Registration
A) Participants must register for the Invention Fair through the official registration process provided by the organizers.
B) Registration details must be accurate and complete.
3. Invention Presentation:
Participants are responsible for presenting their inventions by uploading onto the web site a maximum 5-minute film and all other relevant documents that will allow the jury to assess the invention or innovation. Jury evaluation will be based on what was provided.
4. Entry fees
The entry fees for participating in BRICS-Inventions is CHF 1’350 per invention.
5. Intellectual Property
A) Participants are responsible for securing all intellectual property rights to their inventions.
B) By presenting their inventions, participants grant the organizers permission to use images, videos, and descriptions of their inventions for evaluation purposes.
C). The organizers are not responsible for any unauthorized use or reproduction of participants' inventions by third parties.
6. Judging and Awards
A) Judging criteria and award categories will be determined by the organizers according to the usual high standard practiced by the jury president in other invention and innovation events.
B) Decisions made by the judges and jury are final and binding.
C) Prizes awarded to winners are non-transferable and subject to any applicable taxes.
D) The judging committee and organizers reserve the right to not allocate the grand prizes if they feel that the level of the inventions and innovations does not reach the expected levels of excellence.
7. Changes and Cancellations:
A) The organizers reserve the right to make changes to the schedule, rules, or any other aspect of this online Invention Fair if necessary.
B) Once the registration has been completed no refunds are possible even in the case of disqualification.
8. Data Transfer
By registering for this online Invention Fair, participants authorise BRICS Inventions to transfer any data they have inputted on the platform to third parties in the frame of operational necessities (i.e. certificate issuance).
9. Acceptance of Terms:
A) By registering for this online Invention Fair, participants acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agree to abide by these terms and conditions.

C) Failure to comply with these terms and conditions may result in disqualification from this online Invention Fair.
10. Governing Law:
A) These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Geneva, Switzerland.
B) Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these terms and conditions shall be resolved exclusively by the courts of Geneva, Switzerland.
11. Organiser:
BRICS Inventions is organised by Deban Trading SA, a Swiss company created in 1988 domiciled Avenue de Champel 57, 1206 Geneva, Switzerland
