Who can participate in BRICS-Inventions?

Even though BRICS Inventions was created to promote and enable inventors from member countries, it is open to inventors of all nationalities.

Can I participate even though my nationality is not a member of BRICS or if I am not domiciled in a BRICS country?

Yes, all inventors are welcome to have their inventions or innovations evaluated according to the highest standards. They will however not be eligible to the special BRICS prize of CHF 5’000. They will though, be eligible to all the other cash prizes.

Is BRICS-Inventions recognized by the International Federation of Inventors Associations (IFIA)?

Not only is BRICS-Inventions recognized by IFIA, but IFIA has given its Patronage and is allocating up to 3 different prizes to this event.

Are the cash prizes only for those who are members of BRICS?

Apart from the special BRICS prize of CHF 5’000, all other prizes are potentially available to all participants.

Who evaluates the inventions?

All the evaluations are made under the supervision of Mr. David Taji-Farouki who is the president of the jury. He has been president of the Geneva Inventions fair for the last 24 years and of the International Invention Fair in the Middle East for the last 18 year. He will be able to draw on and refer to a roster of more than 200 judges where needed.

What do I get after the evaluation ?

If the Jury has decided to award you a gold, silver or bronze medal, it will be accompgnied by a certificate. We invite you to look at the winners page to see the quality of the awards.

Is BRICS-Inventions a physical event or only online?

BRICS-Inventions is a strictly online event.

How do you register and what information must we supply?

Once you have clicked onthe register button, you will be invited to fill out a formula and include links to any documentation you may need to supply and a link to a 3 to 5 minutes video presentation of your invention or innovation.

We draw your attention to the fact that your invention or innovation will be assessed solely on the information provided.

The organiser of BRICS-Inventions is Swiss company called Deban Trading SA that was established in 1988 and has its offices 57 Avenue de Champel, 1206 Geneva, Switzerland.
